Fall makes me so happy. I love leaving behind the oppressive heat of summer (and the humidity!) and moving into cooler temps with much less sweating. I love having everyone back in school and back on a normal routine. And I love how beautiful NC is when the leaves start changing!

Despite my love for the season, in the past few years, it has been a real struggle finding DIY fall decorating ideas that fit my style (you'll understand what I mean if you've taken our home tour). Traditional fall decorating just doesn't match my design aesthetic! I want bright pops of color and more modern design elements.

This year I decided to do some digging to find DIY fall decor projects that inspire me. Once I saw them all, I knew I had to share them so that no one else has to avoid decorating for fall because it isn't their style. Turns out there are fall decorating ideas for every style!!!

This high-impact entryway is perfect for a color enthusiast who wants to keep it traditional but add a fun twist. I can't say that this one is inexpensive (unless someone wants to donate a bunch of pumpkins to you), but you could create this look with reusable foam pumpkins so that you can use it year after year! If you did that, it would certainly be economical in the long-run. I usually find great sales on faux pumpkins at craft stores, so you could stock up on them while they are cheap!
